NMF+ is a hydrating microemulsion for dehydrated, tight and sensitive skin, including skin recovering from intensive treatments and strong actives. NMF — Natural Moisturizing Factor — is the complex of water-soluble compounds the skin carries from the start: amino acids, urea, PCA, lactate, sugars and electrolytes. They attract and bind water in the stratum corneum, the outermost layer. With age and under external stress there is less of it: skin feels tight, loses comfort and holds its barrier less well.
NMF+ tops that complex back up and reinforces it with glycyrrhetinic acid from licorice root and bisabolol — they calm the skin, even out tone and, according to the manufacturer, stimulate the skin's own hyaluronic acid synthesis. Hyalosphere® technology, based on hyaluronic acid, carries the ingredients deeper into the skin and holds moisture at the same time.
Apply to cleansed skin on the face, neck and décolleté. It pairs well with the retinols in the range — mix them in your palm before applying to make the adjustment period gentler.
